Nestled between winding country roads, Taylor + Danielle celebrated their rustic + classic-styled wedding day amidst the tranquil charm of Ocala, FL.  The idyllic wedding venue exuded a rustic and romantic ambiance which served as an integral significance to Danielle’s story as she grew up on her family’s ancestral farm. The Protea Estate was the perfect setting to celebrate with the wedding couple’s friends and family.

Danielle reflected elegance with her classic and timeless style. Her cathedral veil sweeped and floated behind her every step. The bride’s bouquet was an exquisite combination of white roses and peonies that were artfully dispersed throughout, creating a beautiful atmosphere to be admired.

Danielle + Taylor arrived at their reception in an opulent white Rolls Royce. The entrance to the venue welcomed the bride and groom with a tunnel of canopied trees; the Spanish Moss backlit with golden light.  We stole a few moments to relax between the chaos and photograph the newlyweds. Taylor and Daniel were stunning and exuded a sense of luxury and vintage charm.

My favorite moment was the exchange of emotions during the Father/Daughter + Mother/Son dances. The combination of sentiments expressed had me teary-eyed behind the camera. I could feel the love, the pride, and the bittersweet notion of how fast time flew by. Too fast. A lump in my throat grew watching them in embrace. I saw it. A mother and a father remember the baby versions of their grown children; tiny people they once held in their arms. Even now as I type, I’m getting all choked up.

It was a beautiful day full of beauty and sweet emotions. We were honored to have photographed the day. Cheers to the beautiful couple!
